Cast the Pedra to the desirable place and retrieve it jerking the rod. The erratic twitch bait movement from Pedra will be irresistible to the predator.
Conventional Action
Depth options: It's an option to count as the Pedra sinks and then start the action. This way, it'll be possible to work in the water column where the predator is.
Fishing options: Cast the Pedra next to structures: rafts, rocks, ravines, etc. During the lure's submersion, give it some jerks with the rod. It's possible that the predator will attack as the lure goes down. But if that doesn't happen, jerk the rod as you feel the lure touching the bottom.
