It was project to work on Zara action. However, there are some differences: the head is shaped like a lizard, so the lure mimics a small reptile fleeing on the water surface. And, besides that, the sides of the head have some cuts for the water to pass through, for a more precise swim, like a Zara, and also making some noises just like poppers.
On its traditional action, you can cast to the desirable spot and jerk the rod to action like a Zara. This action will attract the fish, making it attack thinking it's a small reptile fleeing on the water surface.
Conventional Action
You could also cast it to the desirable area and give it small jerks without constant retrieval. It will attract the attention of the predators that will strike on anger.
